Terms of service
The agreement for using Haus: accounts, your data, e-signatures, payments, the AI features and what we are and aren't responsible for.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between rlty.ai (“we”, “us”) and you. If you sign in to Haus as part of a staging company’s team, you accept them for yourself and on behalf of that company (the “company”). If you use a page a company sent you, such as an intake form, a contract to sign, an invoice, a job tracker or a portal, the sections marked for clients apply to you. By using Haus you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Accounts and seats
- A company’s account has a number of seats. Each seat is one person with their own email and password. Don’t share a seat.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done from your seat. Tell us straight away if you think it has been misused.
- The company’s owner can add and remove seats, and is responsible for its team’s use of Haus.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
Your data
The company owns the information it and its clients put into Haus. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it as needed to provide the service, and only for that. How we handle it is described in the privacy policy.
The company is responsible for the information it collects through Haus: for having the right to collect it, for telling its clients how it is used, and for honouring their requests about it. Outreach emails must go only to people the company may lawfully email and must respect every unsubscribe.
Acceptable use
Use Haus only for lawful business purposes. Don’t:
- Upload anything you don’t have the right to use, or anything unlawful, harmful or infringing.
- Send spam, or use the outreach and phone features in a way that breaks marketing, telemarketing or call-recording law.
- Try to get into another company’s data, probe or overload the service, or reverse-engineer it.
- Resell Haus or use it to build a competing product.
Contracts and electronic signatures
Haus lets a company send its own staging contract for signature and collects signatures electronically, together with an audit trail of who signed what and when. The contract is between the company and its client; we are not a party to it and don’t give legal advice about it. By signing electronically you agree that an electronic signature and an electronic copy of the contract are as valid as a signed paper original. Each company should confirm with its own attorney that its contract and process meet the law where it operates.
Payments
- Between a company and its clients. Invoices are issued by the company and paid to the company. Card payments go through Stripe under the company’s own Stripe account, on Stripe’s terms. We don’t hold client funds and aren’t responsible for refunds or disputes between a company and its client.
- Between a company and us. Haus is sold as a subscription at the prices published on our site or agreed with you in writing, plus any applicable taxes. Fees are billed in advance and aren’t refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice, taking effect at the next billing period.
Connected services
A company may connect third-party accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google or Stripe, or turn on a phone number and AI receptionist. Those services have their own terms, which the company accepts by connecting them. We can’t control them and may need to change or end a connection if the provider changes what it allows.
AI features
The Haus assistant and the AI receptionist generate answers and summaries automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They never take an action, send money or send a contract on their own: every change they propose is confirmed by a person first. Check what they tell you before relying on it, and remember that the company is responsible for what its team approves. Where calls are recorded, the company is responsible for complying with recording and consent law in its state.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Haus running and to improve it, and we may add, change or remove features. We may take the service down briefly for maintenance. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to for legal or security reasons, and will tell you when we do unless the law prevents it.
Our property
Haus, its design, code, name and mark belong to rlty.ai. These terms give you a right to use the service, not ownership of any part of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Disclaimers
Haus is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its calculations, documents or AI output are fit for a particular purpose. Quotes, contracts and invoices are the company’s own documents produced with a tool we provide.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from Haus. Our total liability for anything connected with the service is limited to the fees the company paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnity
The company will defend and cover us against claims arising from its use of Haus, from the data it puts in, or from its dealings with its own clients, including any breach of these terms.
Ending the agreement
A company can stop using Haus at any time by asking us to close its account. We can end the agreement on notice as described above. When an account closes, the company can export its records beforehand, and we delete its data as described in the privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as payments owed, ownership, disclaimers, liability and indemnity, continue after the agreement ends.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and both sides agree to their jurisdiction. Before starting a claim, write to us; most problems are quicker to fix than to litigate.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, for meaningful changes, tell companies by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Haus after that means you accept the new terms.
